Hunting- Lee County is blessed with abundant hunting opportunities. White-tail deer populations are very good with some exceptional size deer taken in the 2010 hunt season. Turkey hunting has been very good for the past few years as well, with the youth hunters showing the grown ups how it should be done!

Fishing- Lee County and Bear Creek Lake have been know for years as some of the best fishing to be found in the state of Arkansas. The spring crappie season of 2010 brought some of the biggest fish ever caught in Bear Creek Lake. In addition there are numerous other fishing locations available. The St Francis Floodway, The Languille River, The Mississippi River and numerous flooded bottom-land areas referred to as ox-bows, or flooded ground leftover from the old Mississippi River channel, such as Council Lake, and Midway Lake. Council Lake and Midway Lake can be found on the Brickeys USGS quad topo map. The latitude and longitude coordinates for this lake are 34.8040, -90.6229 .

Bird Watching- Lee County is in the middle of some of the best bird watching country around.

Boating- Boats on Bear Creek Lake are limited to 10 HP motors. The St Francis River and the Floodway are both good areas for faster boats.
